Learned my ex-love is sleeping with someone new. We've been broken up for a long time but were still sort of semi-seeing each other until very recently. All the breakup pain hits all over again.

I don't know how I will stand it. I know I'll date again eventually, but right now I can't fathom it. :-(

No doubt, you're going through the mourning period yet again. Give yourself time. It will pass. It happened to me, too. I had even filed for divorce and found out my ex was sleeping with someone else. I found out where she lived, saw his car there and for little or nothing, I would have bought a can of spray paint and written obsceneties all over his car... but I didn't.

Sometimes, it's hard to let go.

That must have been really terrible since you were married. My ex and I were never married, but we had been together for years. It stinks. :-(

I've got to find some things to do away from my usual group of friends (that he and I were both connected with). That way I'll think of him less and might put it more out of mind.

The more I think about him sleeping with someone else, the more I feel kind of repulsed by him. If I can hold onto that feeling it might help me get over it. Won't last though, sigh.......

I went through a period of anger, then rage, revulsion. Then I wanted to make a point and asked him back, which he did. Then more revulsion because he had turned into a door mat. That's when I finally spit him out for good. Now I'm at a very content Indifference! I see him twice a year for grandsons birthdays. He'll come over and talk to me but I don't even make the effort to correct his weirded out ideas. Couldn't care less what he thinks! He's quite rediculous in his thinking.

You'll get there, too.

Thanks all for the support. I'm feeling a little better today. Maybe this is for the best and I'll really be able to separate myself from him and get on with my life.
