Or if you are single what are some qualities you would like a future partner to have?

I am going to say kindness because it might just be from my bad experiences with people over the years going back to my abusive father but I believe genuine kindness is a rare quality for people to have and my Wife is without a doubt one of the kindest people I have ever known next to my sister and she has been incredibly supportive over the years. Not only does she accept me and all the quirks that come with me having ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome and OCD but she will say things some days when I am feeling down like I wouldn’t be the same guy that she fell in love with if I didn’t have them and she has made me feel more confident about having disabilities. After being put down by people like my Dad for having disabilities and not being ‘normal’ I never felt like I belonged in this world but thanks to her I do and I love being part of a family with her and our two daughters and we found out a few weeks ago we have another one on the way

1) My partner seems to accept me as I am. I find it surreal and weird and don't always know how to actually handle it.... but I love it. I appreciate him sooooooo much, he listens to my silly worries and says that they aren't silly, he's patient and encouraging instead of getting frustrated or guilting me over some difficulties I have with intimacy.

2) He's considerate - he views our relationship as equal and my needs/wants are treated as equally valid as his are. So he compromises or sometimes just does things that he knows I'd like to do. I can actually ask him things without being terrified about being rejected.

If I had to choose one quality I love the most about my wife, it would be her strength.

My wife is the strongest person I have ever met. She lives her life with passion and has a clear sense of self. She has true compassion for others and is always willing to help a friend or family member in need. My wife also has an undiagnosed medical condition. She has seizures and passes out regularly. She has also lost her vision and her extremities go numb from time to time. She has seen a variety of specialist with no breakthroughs, as of yet, regarding what the cause may be. Despite all of this she keeps a positive outlook on life and does not let her medical condition stop her from achieving her dreams.

Her strength is truly inspiring.

There are quite a few things I love the mostest about him but I have to say that his acceptance of me was the first thing that completely blew my mind.

Not in a relationship, but I am consistently attracted to a wonderful mix of intelligence, compassion, and ambition. Most people I've been attracted to have had these characteristics.

Thanks for the answers.

Strength is a good one and I am sorry to hear that about your Wife Scott385.

My Wife is a very strong person too. She has Endometriosis and some other rare diseases I won’t list on here but she regularly suffers from chronic pain and has been through three different operations in the last five years and I have helped her through all of them. She was bullied when she was a kid and used to cut herself because she didn’t want to live and then she was raped when she was 19 and got pregnant with my despite but despite everything she has had to face she is still strong and she has a positive outlook on life too and she has done so much for me since we have been together.
