So through all this mess with my twin sister, my family says nothing. They don't like confrontation. so when my sister calls me a _itch or calls my daughter one, if she says something rude or acts rude, no one stands up for me. No one says anything.

We were taught family values: treat others as you want to be treated, if you can't say something nice, keep you mouth shut, love your family, treat others with respect.

I'm frustrated as to why? Why didn't someone say, "Stop", that is not ok, you don't call your sister or anyone names.

I can't change my sister, I'm to the point I resent her for her actions and words. I don't even know why I have a desire to make things better between us, but I do.

What to do?

Maybe your family thinks it will make it worse or it's an issue between you and your sister that they don't want to get caught up into. Did you try asking your family for their point of view? Or why they are not prohibiting your sister at cussing at you? Tell them it is too overwhelming for you and that you need their help.

It's inappropriate to cuss, especially to her own family and to cuss at a child. It's verbal abuse and emotional. Is it possible to move?

Can't help wondering---------------------------is your sister jealous of you? Her behaviour is spiteful and irrational.
