I used to have friends, but now I am totally alone. I miss the time I had many male friends my age -- when I was in high school and college.

If I was not lonely, everything would be OK. I have not seen my therapist for a very long time now.

PS. I am not and have never been looking for a girlfriend. I am not homosexual.

Stradalets, it is harder to find friends once we finish school and go to work. We are around many folks our age when we are in high school and college. Are there any possible friends where you work?

What are your hobbies and interests? It sounds like you need to get out to places where other guys might be, such as a gym or a bowling alley. Or men's organizations. Keep your eyes open for possibilities.

Its hard to make friends after college. I went for many years trying to find my way, and I'm finally at a point where I think I'm ok again! Are there activities you enjoy in which you can meet new people? Or are there online common interest groups you can join? I've met a number of people online and while they aren't friends who are here by my side, they are friends none the less. I wish you the best.

I am interested in finding telephone friends. Needless to say in my position I am not looking for romance...

I am looking for men who had to cope with abuse or midlife crisis or both.
