I feel totally isolated -- I do not even have a therapist now.
I am a man who is financially dependent on his parents and controlled by them. If you are in a similar situation you would understand -- as I understand, "failure to launch" is a very common issue these days. |

I joined a pen pal site a few months ago and have made a few good friends that way. I Skype with one of them who is in the UK and I talk on the phone with another. The rest are strictly pen pals and we email each other regularly. Its a good way to meet people from around the world.

Stay away from the penitentiary sites! There is a site I belong to called pen pal world. I know there are others out there. I don't know if there is a site specifically for telephone friends, but a lot of people on the pen pal site end up skyping or saying in their profile that they would like Skype friends. I use Skype as a phone and don't do the video part. I have the Skype app on my smartphone. I like it as you can talk to people without having to give out your phone number.
