Walk away and make no effort once they have had their use, how wre you meant to handle that in your heart? They love other people who don't do anything for them and want to spend all their time with them. What is wrong with me that i can be so easily disregarded?

Hi Jenni, I'm really sorry you've been hurt like that
![]() But it really doesn't have to mean that there's anything wrong with you. There could be plenty of things that makes a relationship not work out e.g. too many differences or too many similarities between you, people changing over time, lack of real communication................... And it can just as easily be about them e.g. if they have problems really committing to someone, if the word "love" doesn't carry the same meaning for them, if they aren't being honest in the relationship................. And if it's about them, they can't be bothered even trying to work/talk through things with you, then you know you're much better off without them, right?? ![]() You deserve better!!! But perhaps try to see it as a learning experience if that's possible??? Maybe there are some signs you could look out for in future relationships e.g signs when people might be more interested in what you can do for them, as opposed to what they can do for you?? And handling people walking away, well............time can sometimes help...........seeing it from a different perspective..........doing different things/activities to take your focus away from.............spending time with people who do value you..........talking about it/sharing/getting support from others...........and we're here for you!!! But please don't base your self worth on someone else/another person, or on them them being/not being with you. You're so much more than that!!! ![]() Alison |
