I would like to know if anyone has a bipolar disorder alcoholic husband and some of their experiences in the marriage.

I am sure if you post in the bipolar forum or the partners forum you will find what you are looking for. lots of bipolars use alcohol to self medicate. I did it for year. being successfully medicated I have no need to drink anymore. it was easy to quit drinking and I was a black out drinker. welcome to psych central. you will find we have several forums where you can post about your concerns and receive feedback from other members. you will get a lot of support here. again, welcome
