Is it weird that me, in my late teens, is attracted to older men? Like try 30's . I am not sexually attracted to kids my own age. They are just so immature. I'm like a 25 yr old trapped in a 17 yr old body. I know socially it's immoral an wrong but I don't understand why my desires differ from the norm.

Taylorlamelza, it may seem wierd to you but there is something in our ancient past of matches with older men and young women.

Here are a bunch of articles, some of which may be of interest on this topic.
Psych Central - Search results for Younger women attracted to older men

If you do get involved with anyone, it might be wise to tell them you are seventeen. You might not have a problem, but in many states under 18 means a guy can end up in court with charges against them. It is often parents or others in authority that press charges.

You may be more mature in some ways but some guys target young women because they can manipulate them and get what they want and leave. If you are looking for a long term relationship, you may want to postpone physical involvement until you establish a deep seated emotional connection. If this is your first long term relationship, you will probably discover the things you have not yet learned about relationships. In short it is called getting hurt. I remember some of my early stumbles and it still hurts to think of them

Thanks you for responding. I understand this is a difficult subject to talk about. Where I live the age of consent is 17. So legally it's okay. I understand that guys target young women and often it doesn't end well. Thank you for reassuring me that I'm not alone.
