I've been talking to this woman for almost 2 weeks and everything is going really well. We have our first date tomorrow. Something is bothering me, though. Yesterday, February 5th, I started to get this weird vibe from her. We didn't talk nearly as much as we have been. A little bit ago, we were talking and she told me she was going to unwind from a busy work week by going out with some friends. Here are the next few texts we exchanged:

Me - That'll be a good way to start the weekend!

Her - I have stuff Saturday and Sunday lol tomorrow I'm going to chicago to have lunch with an old coworker and family from when I worked at the chicago location of my school. Then sunday I'm going to a bridal expo with the same coworker since I'm going to be in her wedding lol

Me - busy weekend! lol, i was actually being stupid and talking about our date. maybe i should’ve added an emote with my last message.

Her - Oh duh (few smilie faces) I'm an idiot.

Me - so, I'm assuming you want to meet at the theater?

Now, it could have easily been a mistake that she had forgotten or else she could not be interested anymore. I want to say something like, '' Is something wrong? If you aren't interested anymore, please tell me.'' something like that.

What do you guys think? I mean, if she wasn't interested then we wouldn't still be talking 2 weeks later. She'd be wasting my time as well as hers. That is what I keep telling myself.

It sounds like she's busy this weekend and merely made plans with others that really cannot be broken very easily. I would recommend just letting it go, and ask her how everything went, the next time that you chat with one another.
