I have a family member who has a problem with their pet. This person has a job with very good benefits and can easily afford to take time off to deal with this. However, due to some sort of strange work ethic on their part, they keep asking me to take time out of my day to deal with their pet issues.
It's really starting to get on my nerves. I am very sympathetic to their pet problem and I know how hard it can be to get time off to deal with this stuff, but this person hoards vacation and sick days and never uses them. I am just tired of dealing with this person's crazy requests. I'm not the only one they ask. The past couple of times they've asked, I've had to say no because of my work schedule, but it still drives me crazy to see them getting other people to take unpaid time off from work to do these things. It's not maliciousness on the part of the requester as much as just craziness around their job. Plus, I am not sure if my messages are just not getting through, but I have said no three times today. |

Huh, someone just pointed out that aside from the vacation hoarding, she is probably just wanting to involve other people in this problem because she is upset.
