Should I be worried?
Alright well I've been dating this girl for around a mnthnow and I'm rather happy with the relationship but I'm curious of I should be worried. She had told me how she lacks empathy and how she has an "impressive hate" for herself. Not only this but she has told me that she tends to shut down when someone bad or even slightly upsetting happens and has even brought to my attention that she could kill someone and not feel guilty if there were no consequences, this stops her doing many stupid things due to consequences, basically keeps her following rules.

I feel bad about asking such things but seeing a lot of murders in the news and such throughout my life I tend to worry. So should I be worried that my new found girlfriend is a psychopath?

Ps. She isn't the most social and I'm her first boyfriend, I'm not sure if this will be helpful or not.

I'm dying to know how she brought this to your attention. Had she identified a specific victim, or was she killing just anybody?

yes, it is worrisome.

Best case scenario, she's lying to you and none of this is true.

Worst case scenario, its ALL true.

Either way, (or any shade in between) is cause for major concern. I'd say back out now. If she is willing to kill with no remorse, God only knows what could happen to you in the future. Be safe.

Idk if you should, but I don't think I would be.

It's not her fault she has no empathy... IMO,many people would commit crimes or behave in unsavory manners if there were no consequences, and for most, remorse is an added consequence in a sense I guess.

Idk, I just can't judge people based on things that are not their fault, nor could I imagine leaving my bf based on him sharing this news with me.... But then again, I've known him for half my life, so its a bit different, I know he'd never hurt me, whether he'd feel remorse or not wouldn't matter.

So I don't know if you should be worried, it depends on the rest of your gfs character.

It was through a random
Conversation at school of I recall, I'm not sure if those were her exact words or not and will try and clarify today. I can assure you that there hasn't been any victims and I'm only asking this question to assure my safety fr the future. One thing I have learned though is that empathy can be learned at any age so that part doesn't worry me too much.
