I wrote about it here a few months ago. I was having anxiety and dread all the way up to going, mainly cause I'm FAT! But everyone was happy to see everyone, and everyone has aged, some are also fat, LOL! I'm glad I forced myself to go, but it is taking me a while now to recover, sleeping a lot and hibernating alone in my house.

Peg...there are several of us already on Facebook. Class of '68. It was sad to see that many have passed away already.

Ah, facebook is a wonderful thing, I'm glad you went, not sure I could do it. Funny how age makes us spread like that!

I keep track of a lot of old high school friends via Facebook, so I don't fear seeing them in person because we've ALL aged. I find, at least with the ones I keep up with, we get along so much better as adults than we did when we were in school together. With living life comes perspective and a better ability to accept differences and understand how we've all had our struggles along the way. Glad you enjoyed yourself.

Yes! Also glad to see you face the demons! Jolly good girl lol So now you have another 10 years to wait for the next one, right? My mother moved me around so much, I have NO childhood friends NONE...it's ok though, well it has to be, doesn't it.

I'm glad you went! I skipped my reunion not because of my looks but rather because I haven't lived up to my potential. (I'm on SSDI, went on it right after grad school.) I didn't want to have to dodge questions for 3+ hours about what I've been doing with my life!
