My girlfriend has a few problems that are causing her a lot of stress and upset. Her job barely pays enough to cover bills, her son and daughter have some health issues, her other daughter has a dog that my girlfriend looks after which my girlfriends dog occasionally has 'disagreements' with, thereby upsetting her daughter and stressing my girlfriend. There are other things such as family distance and such. Plus her job is stressful
My question is that apart from being there for her and supporting her where I can is that all I can do? It upsets me to see her so low. I take her out to theme parks and festivals and mini breaks to break the norm but she sees no end to her problems

She may need to learn to navigate boundaries with her children, at least the dog. And therapy can help with learning coping mechanisms for handling stress. Stress can have long term health consequences. Some feed on their own stress and perpetuate their own turmoil, so it's really hard to say how you can relieve her burden for her.
