I spent around 8 years living with my mom following my breakdown. Basically she showed up when I was planning to commit suicide because my brother called her. Anyway I'm now facing a medical issue, possibly cancer, but she doesn't call, or respond in any way to my message. I know there isn't much she could do but really, at least acknowledge the message.
Basically she hates me, she loves me because I'm her child but she hates me. She has told me on numerous occasions. But still it's not like her to not respond.

Certainly a scary prognosis to be dealing with, when looking for your mom's support. Have you tried texting one more time, to see if she's well?

No I haven't. She's probably upset, my plans changed and I didn't bring my daughter over to see her last weekend.

Does she react like that often, when plans change? By ignoring you?
