My local sister called me to tell me my FL sis flew in early this afternoon. Long story short...she and I haven't spoken since Christmas. I sent a letter to the woman my mother sells pills to in FL., and the woman just happens to work with my sister...
My mom's still selling them to her but I just don't care any more. She can do what she wants. I've been in her life less and less over the past 2 or 3 years, but when she gave a bubble wrapped envelope to my college age daughters to mail that was and is the complete end of my relationship with my mother. My girls came home, flung the package on the floor and I called my mother to come get her pills. I put them outside my apartment door when I saw her enter the building. She and I are finished... Anyway, back to my sister. I think she knows that I never meant for her to get caught in the whole mess. I never really thought about it carefully but I have emailed and left messages about how sorry I am. So... She's in town for her high school reunion on Saturday and tomorrow morning she's coming over for coffee. I'm so thrilled and grateful about all this. My dad has been ill for 8 months and his doctor doesn't say it's good. The cancer will come back. He just finished chemo a few months ago. (bladder cancer) My sisters and I need to come first and maintain our relationship. With dad being ill, I especially want my sister to fill me in on what's going on. Dad's 83 and a little forgetful. Or, maybe he just doesn't want to talk about being ill...I don't know. Sorry this is so long...I'm so excited to see my sister tomorrow morning. Cat

I'm so glad that you and your Sister are going to see each other.
 Enjoy Enjoy! Good for you for just pushing the messy drama out of the way.

Christina...I have a flip phone and no camera. We had a super visit! My daughter was here; other daughter's in Myrtle Beach as of 15 minutes ago. Daughter texted me saying the traffic is horrible. (no thank you) Sis and I talked about mom, dad, work, my kids, growing up...all of it. Laughed and almost cried. I'm so happy...
