I recently posted about an article I read about the health benefits that being nude can provide. I posted about it in the Current Events subforum. It says that being nude can promote better feelings and overall acceptance with one's body and boost one's mood through better absorption of vitamin D.

Now, I know I like being nude in my bedroom and am interested in exploring other areas where I can be nude but since my family, whom I live with, doesnt share the same interest, there aren't many other places I can go.

I have found a local naturalists association that I would like to join and even pulled up their contact page but I hesitate because they want my home address. This means they might send stuff through the mail. My parents might come across it and I am afraid all hell will break loose.

It's not that they are conservative, for the most part, but I am afraid they won't accept my lifestyle choice. I want to get out more, and meet new people and think this will be good for me.

What should I do now? Fill out the form? Or continue to struggle with wanting to explore my nudist lifestyle in only my bedroom and bathroom?

OMG!!!!!

I filled out the contact us form inquiring about membership and pushed the "Submit" button. I can't believe I did that! I am feeling bold and anxious at the same time! I just need a plan on how to break this to my parents.

Ask them not to mail you stuff, it is easy to set up so that they do everything online or open a box at local mail office and get your mail there. I am not sure why you need to tell your parents what you do in your free time as long as you don't openly practice it at home . You are a grown woman. Why would they even care what groups you join.

Oh. I guess they need to know because I don't drive and sometimes rely on them to bring me places. I am also gratefully allowed to live at home with them.

Ok, maybe tell them this is a new group of friends or something.

My parents would freak out if I told them I need them to drive me to nudist place. They are not conservative and I am almost 50 and haven't lived with them for the past 30 years and I did my own thing since I was 18 but they would freak out. Less they know better it is fir everyone Lol

Okay. Any ideas what I should say if they ask for more details?
