So sometimes I get an inkling to travel. Usually I'm okay until the night before I actually have to board the plane - then panic. I'm pretty irrational when it comes to most things and travel is no exception - I think something is going to happen and I ain't coming back. Something that usually helps is thinking that I don't really have anything to come back to. Yes I have a condo and stuff but no real human connection. I've always travelled alone and there are some advantages - you can make your own schedule might be the biggest. But then there is always those long lonely walks down the beach. That's when you wish conjure up a lover from the sand and the wind. It don't happen though. Anyway I'm getting pretty nervous and I force myself to do these trips. I'm getting old and its getting way too easy to sit in my chair and quietly fade away. It will be a night of terror - just getting to the airport will be an adventure. Such is my life......

It's still beautiful there. Thinking of you for a safe journey. I get a bit anxious with planes, myself. Probably from air sickness during my youth on them, then physics class, in college. I try to keep hard candies/mints with me.
