I have one friend who is always so quick to tell me that nobody cares about me and the guys I like are unattractive and just point out my negative traits but when it comes back to our others friends she's so quick to point out their positive traits.
Have you guys faced a similar situation? How did you handle it? I've tried talking to her, but she gets angry with me for it.

In my experience people like this are more likely to listen to your actions than your words. I would be a healthy distance between yourself and you're freind and hopefully this will send out the message that you value yourself sufficiently not to put up with any derogatory remarks

is she being sarcastic? I would keep my distance from her and protect myself a little bit more

This is good advice I'll keep my distance and see what happens.

Wow that doesn't sound like a friend. Knowing me and my temper, I'd let her know that lol. Stay away from this person. No one needs that in life.

She's no friend!

I had a friend like that. Her competitiveness was INSANE! She was a lesbian but still "competed" with me over guys. (Yeah, go figure this one out!)

You're better off without friends like this.

I had a friend like this in high school. She was empathic and fun to be with when it was just the two of us, but when a guy came around, she would completely change. She would put me down in subtle ways (e.g. "Your teeth look like a vampire's!") and would literally sit in between me and a guy I was interested in.

Needless to say, we haven't talked or hung out much since.
