My ex boyfriend has a Tumblr account where you can ask him anonymous questions. I will admit that I've been looking at his Tumblr lately, though he doesn't know I have the link to it (he put the link on his dating profile though, and we met through the dating site so it's conceivable he could guess I've looked at it before when we were talking). Anyway, he makes a lot of posts asking people to ask him anonymous questions, and posts sample questions people could ask him. We broke up fairly amicably and he wanted to be friends (he broke up with me). I told him maybe someday, but I need to get to a good place emotionally. It's been over a month (we dated for 4 months), and I'm really curious about what he's thinking of me. I want to ask: "What would you say to and ask your most recent ex girlfriend if you could?"
My question is: is this creepy, stalker-y, or just a bad idea? Is it sort of dishonest since he wouldn't know it's me? Or is it okay since he always asks for questions and encourages people to do so? Would you ask your ex an anonymous question if you could? |

I think he will know (or at least suspect) it is you. If you really want to ask him, text him or send him a message that's not anonymous. Especially since it was amicable and are trying to be friends. There's a couple exes I might want to ask a question or two to but if it was really bothering me I'd send them a message.

He does not have to be Albert Einstein to have an inkling here! Best let him go, but if you must ring him up and speak directly.

Bad idea.
Just let him go and forget the notion of friendship. It will only serve to potentially cause you problems in future relationships. |

What if he has a new girlfriend and misunderstands the question to be about his most recent gf not his ex gf?
Probably not the best way to get the answers you want. Do you ever talk to him since the break up?
