When i was 14 i was diagnosed with epilepsy. It got so bad that i had to leave school, and start homeschooling. It really sucked because none of my 'friends' bothered to keep contact.
I am now 18, and i cant connect to anyone my own age. Being isolated from my peers changed the way i think and act. I can barely keep a conversation with them, because i find them so emotionally immature. I've had to deal with and overcome alot.

So now i find myself only able to connect with those older than me. And that doesnt really help, because for some reason, females dont seem to like me. And the males are either only interested in flirting or dont pay attention.
So where does that leave me?
Alone.

Hello ArcadeMonkey: I'm sorry you are experiencing this difficulty. I just wanted to leave a quick reply letting you know I had read your post. I hope that you will be able to keep looking for the social interaction you seek. Chances are, it's out there. You just have to keep looking. My best wishes to you...

Epilepsy is considered incredibly spiritual in other cultures, bewitching or otherwise being very gifted in some way.research about epilepsy in tribal cultures I think you will find it very refreshing.
