My mom has always been very controlling of me and abusive to me. Both of my aunts told me that my mom was a very spoiled person. Would that explain why my mom has been mean to me?

Hi, this is a bit evasive without more info to go on. There is always two sides to the story. So go ask your mom why the aunts said that about her, and then you can compare the two sides and decide from yourself there. No one knows the truth more than your own mother. So ask her. tc

Maybe your mother was her mother's 'golden child'

My sister (narcissistic) was also mothers favourite, pampered and endulged she grew into a monster sister, an entitled nasty bully.

My mom has 3 older sisters who always babied her while she was little. My aunt told me that when my mom was 8 or 9 she would get mad when she didn't get her way.

I don't want to hurt my mom's feelings because I was talking to my aunt about her.
