This is the first night with my husband gone and it is strange in the house. I haven't heard from him or his mother which is more alarming than comforting. It is scary when you don't know what is in someone's mind. I know he is angry at me for making him leave.................that is a real unsettling feeling for me. I hope we make it out of this ok

Remember that you are doing a brave thing, and it's brave because it's scary and takes courage. Give yourself plenty of kudos for having that courage even though it is scary. Also remember that by making him leave, you are also protecting your children, so you are also being a good, brave mother to boot.

Thank you all for your comforting words and encouragement.......I will sleep very little tonight.....although exhaustion will take me eventually but this adrenaline running through me is keeping me alert and giving me a terrible headache.
