I need an opinion about something. What does is mean when your boyfriend omits that he is out with another woman? This happened a lot over the last few years. My children would tell me about it. Now they are both in school. The other day my daughter was home from school sick. He told me that he took her to the mall. I found out from my daughter that another woman was with them and bought her all kinds of things...clothes etc.
Why does he leave this part out? He has done this many times with many different women. |

metalchick, it means that he is not monogamist, he is not a one person type of guy. He either can't help himself or he just cheats. Now you know, you can either choose to ignore it or confront him. The kids know, how does it affect them? tc

It means he cheats otherwise he'd be honest. I just don't understand why he gets kids involved. That's not ok

It means he cheats on you and figures the children are too young to figure it out and tattle tale.
I can't imagine it meaning anything else. Probably plays the "single dad sympathy card" with these women.

omit to me = he feels guilty or why would he not tell you? I guess you could take the kids on some outings with a guy friend??? I know it should not be tit for tat so consider what is acceptable to your agreement/commitment with your boyfriend.
