How do you go about letting someone know you like them? I'm very shy, and I can't even imagine ever coming right out and telling him that I like him. I'm not very good at flirting. We've already hung out a few times anyway, so I think even if I did ask him to go out, he wouldn't see it as anything different than what we've already been doing as friends. The best solution I can think of is us getting drunk and then I make a move LOL but the next day he might not know if I had been serious or anything anyway. Any advice?

Hi Asylum -- When you say "tell him I like him" but you need to get drunk to do it -- are you saying you want to be physically intimate?

I'm not sure why you would have to say, "I really like you." If you are hanging out anyway, ask him out, see where it takes you.

Here's how it's always worked for me: If it's a struggle for me to express that I want more than friendship, it's generally because the guy was giving off subtle signals that I was reading without knowing it. So the announcement never went well for me.

I'm am sure that other people are going to respond with more positive outcomes, but my strategy has been to go with the flow and see what comes of it, rather than make any dramatic announcement.

But then, I'm not awfully good at relationships.

Good luck with this. Keep on enjoying your friend.

Hi Asylum...

I'm thinking I can't really help...my crush thing didn't really go well...most likely for the best...

I was thinking though if you are hanging out already that touching his hand if you are at table or just go for holding it while walking...
