So Mrs. Webgoji quit her job a while back and has been working at a new, much less stressful job for about a month. The doctors have taken her completely off of any antidepressants as they believe those were lending themselves to her disconnection from the family.

She is now on Abilify (an atypical antipsychotic actually) and her mood is much improved. We're now laughing and talking again where before I would watch her sit on the end of the couch and crochet during those moments when work wasn't constantly contacting her day and night.

Her sex drive is still non-existent. Probably a combination of both psychological and physiological issues way beyond what I can piece together.

But this is something I've discovered. For the partner with the lower libido, it's not really a problem. The problem is mine. Her needs and wants are being filled, ergo she doesn't have any problems (other than the day to day). I'm the one that's not getting my needs and wants filled so it's really a problem of mine, not her's and barely even a couple's problem. I'm still working through how to deal with the rejection and such, but at least I'm seeing it in a more correct light.

We've still got a long way to go on our intimate life. But at least socially we're starting to reconnect as friends again.
