I only suggest that because it could prevent hard feelings later. As time goes by, he may remember every single thing he did for you, but forget that you helped him. It can be nice to have the facts in a spot where you can look at them, if a musunderstanding ever arises. It might seem like a nuisance, but it allows for a good reality check. Memory plays tricks on us and is not reliable.

Thanks. I have remembered all I did for him the past several months. He has told me he is very grateful and wishes he could do more for me.

I didn't call him today to come over. He didn't call me either. I yelled at him about something so he's probably sore at me. That's okay, he will get over it. And so will I.

I think you did a nice thing for him. You should not stop being nice to people and you set a good limit with him.
You just have to be firm and say "no more." |

If you read the entire thread you would know that I am incapacitated with a broken foot and he is walking my dog for me, doing grocery shopping for me and picking up my prescriptions and getting my mail. I had to make him take money from me, he is very proud and doesn't want any. But he needs it badly so I gave him some, I insisted. I am not going out of my way to buy alcohol for him but I can't control what he buys with the money I give him. I have a set amount I am giving him and then no more this month till next month when he will clean more for me.
