It was 13 degrees today when I took my daughter to the bus stop. I could feel the inside of my nose freezing as I tried to breathe. I have arthritis and spinal injuries from an accident and this climate is killing me. I don't have the money to leave right now so I am stuck. I have to look for work and it is a struggle just to function.

I am so sorry. I hate this weather too. Roads were also slippery today and traffic was horrendous due to accidents. It adds to the stress doesn't it?

Yes! it makes everything harder to do.....it takes me hours to pull myself together. And it is just getting started. They are calling for some big storm to hit the east coast, what else is new....I feel like the only other states colder are New York and Alaska....Pennsylvania is a monster this time of year! I used to live in Las Vegas...four years of great weather. I came back to PA to help my mom. As terrible as it sounds I should have helped me, but like always I come last and now I am paying for it dearly.

Yeah I drove through PA in
the winter. Not fun. Michigan is bad too. On top of it I live in a very congested area with non- stop traffic all day and night. And long commute to work. Ugh. hang in there. Sending hugs

Im sorry your struggling. I have Fibro and the cold is hellish to be honest. I live in Tennessee. My friend from Florida just moved in and she has terrible neck and back problems..

We are managing the best we can, Layers of workout clothes and heating pads and just getting up and moving around more, Just the blood flowing.

I have all my body parts crossed in hopes that this winter will be easier than the last ..

Warm **hugs**

Our winters in South Africa are not as extreme. But our summer, which we're in now is pretty debilitating. Temperatures in excess of 110. I swell up and sweat pours off me and I feel pretty awful all of the time. Nothing helps to cool me down, except being in the air conditioned mall and I'm obviously not there. The little swimming pool that I got hubby for Christmas is like a hot bath. I'm longing for cold. So though I'm in an opposite predicament to you, I understand how weather just wreaks havoc with us.
