First of all thanks for the help. Okay so I'm still struggling with the situation I got myself into, i.e., falling for a much younger woman. Okay so today I was in my car and it felt like she was next to me - I even looked over at the passenger seat. I'm sure there is a medical term for this I'll have to google it. I just thought I'd share just to tell you where I'm at - good luck everyone.

I think its called wishful thinking/ unhealthy obsession / inability to have something you want.

Im sure there is a diagnosis (s) , But does it really matter? yes... to you I think it will.

Well I ended long term relationship and marriage. Wasn't easy but I don't recall feeling their presence. I don't know if there is diagnosis. I painfully miss my daughter ( I do see her of course but infrequently due to geographical/travel distance) but I don't feel she is on the car with me if she isn't. Perhaps therapist could advice you
