My ex who I've not spoken to for weeks and weeks now sent a birthday gift to my daughter.

Unless she is an adult or that been discussed with him. I continue being friends with my ex adult kids and if I want to send something to his grandkids I do. But that's been discussed and he knows and the reason I maintain friendship is because his kids asked me. I left their dad after 9 years with him and I was through s lot with them. It's hard to severe contact. My daughter still keeps in contact with her ex stepmom and it's been many years my exhusband and she split (daughter is an adult but was a teen when they spilt). But those are long terms relationships where people built connections with children and it's been mutually agreed upon to continue communication. In your case if it hasn't been long term and it hadn't been discussed and agreed so he has no business sending her things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
