Howdy,
I have a friend that is trying to get back in my graces. We had a falling out about two years ago, and we're trying to rebuild. He recently moved into a new place, and never asked me once if I could help. Months ago, I gave him the name of the movers I used last year, and he waited until it was too late to book. Over the past few months, I've offered my help, given my advice as to how to be organized because I've moved so many times, and have given my support. But he never came out and ASKED ME if I would help. Now, he's mad. He's tired, sore, he wasn't organized and he's upset that I haven't offered again to help. And now he's running "late" on getting out of his old place and could be penalized for doing so. The fact of the matter is that I feel he is playing me by seeing if I'd "ask" to help him again. He could have asked months ago, or have taken me up on my offer then, and I probably would have helped him. I hate it when people play games with me. I asked, and was declined. Why do have to keep asking? If you need me, you ask. Am I being too harsh? |

Not at all. It's not your fault that he is an unorganized procrastinator.
