I’m a girl in my late 20’s. I’d like to establish some roots and settle down so I can feel more fulfilled. I’ve lived and worked a fast, fun, casual life full of professional success and successful parties but it has left me very empty, and I want to feel more wholesome, more full, more happy. It’s difficult in this big city i live in.
But where do I start? |

I'd slow down on the partying. That automatically leads to a hectic schedule. Look for things you can volunteer doing and enjoying. Like help out your local dog rescue group or a reading group. Something that has meaning to you.

I like to read, write, talk to people, I love animals and hiking, camping, swimming, yoga. I do all this in my spare time when I go home (I'm from a more rural landscape, but now live in the city), but I always have to come back to the city because I live here. Then naturally the concrete jungle gets to me again. It doesn't help that I live on a fashionable block where it seems many people just drink, go to brunch, and shop. There has to be more to life. But I don't know how to get it.
