Yesterday, I went to buy some food and when I got to the shop, started to feel really nauseous. It went away as I was doing my shopping but came back when I got home.
I started cooking and suddenly, was hit with such intense nausea I had to sit on the floor. It was awful! As I was sitting there, I asked myself, 'What do I need to get past this?' and heard, 'Someone, another person to come and comfort me!' The thing is, I'm absolutely convinced no one would.. ![]() For a long time now, I've been working to build that sense of safety I was deprived of as a child. I feel I need to know there are people out there with a more humane approach to other people's suffering. So, I'd like to hear how you'd react if, for instance, you saw someone getting so sick at work, for example, that they needed to sit on the floor or go lie down..? I'd like to learn there are people out there who'd actually feel worried and be supportive.. ![]() |

I'd be worried. I'd help them to a comfy chair or take them to the sick bay. offer water or soup if it's caused by hunger or dehydration. I've called an ambulance for my boss when he said he felt choking (pressure on some vagus nerve) and then lost consciousness

Oh yeah I would definitely be concerned and try to help them. There are still good, helpful, caring people out there !

I would offer them assistance. Though whether they are man, woman, or child would effect the feelings I have about it, and probably the extent to which I would go to help them feel better. I'll move the earth for a woman or child, but unless I know the man, or can identify with whats happening to him my level of care is going to be the basics. I know thats probably a failing on my part, but thats the truth.

People or that person would think I'm a creep because of severe anxiety would cause me to pace back and forth as turn my head towards the people around me, telling my head to just go and talk to the person in need. I really would like to help have to hope either I would or someone else.
