I went and spent Tuesday night with Colleen and Josh. Josh and I got up at 5 a.m. and spent quality time talking....If something happens to him, I don't know what we will do. He is going to be in that danger zone, out from Baghdad, where there is so much fighting going on.

My daughter goes in for a hysterectomy, asap. We're working on what we're going to do about Stella now. I think that my other daughter and I can work out keeping her....I can do it on weekends. They have stairs and we're setting up a place downstairs for my daugher's recovery.

Please, please pray for him. I think prayers brought him home, safely, the last tour.....Thank you so much, xoxoxo Pat

You got it pat.... prayers and good energy coming your way to cover you and your family through this time.

You are one amazing woman Pat. I would be a puddle of mush in your shoes. Creator is clearly holding you up and providing you with strength and understanding. Your son and family are blessed to have you in their lives.
May Creator continue to surround you and your family with His angels. May you and your family know His peace, love and joy in new ways each and every moment of every day.

May the war in Iraq come to a miraculous conclusion and my our sons and daughters be brought home safe and healthy.

Stay well Pat. Bless you and yours.

today, our town honored a fallen soldier....we did it downtown on the square. there was a small parade. then there was a flyover by private planes and when they reached the square, one pulled out and did an upwards spiral and headed west. it was so very touching and sad.

thank you all for your support. xoxox pat

"Josh" leaves Friday for his 2nd tour in Iraq....... Josh - Pat - Family"Josh" leaves Friday for his 2nd tour in Iraq.......

. . . . . so much to digest . . . . . . please keep in mind that he made it home the first time and will do the same the second time . . . . . . you are all in my prayers . . . . . . I know it's hard - my little brother is in Iraq for the second time as well (in Baghdad as well) and it's hard not to let the stinkin thinkin paint the worse case scenario . . . . . .

Gentle Hugs, SBD

Thank you......Josh is the son that I didn't have. We love him so much and can only send up many, many prayers that he is going to be all right. I can tell that he is really stressed about leaving. His PTSD flares up frequently now........xoxoxo pat

Pat - I will keep Josh in my thoughts. As well as the rest of your family because it does effect everyone. I'm curious - does the military know about his PTSD and have they evaluated to see that he is safe to return to Iraq?

hugs to you,
Tranq

there weren't enough qualified doctors at Ft. Sill to help the people who came back. they wanted to put him on an AD. didn't give him any counseling whatsoever.

and no, he shouldn't go back to Iraq. he loses his temper, withdraws and this isn't the Josh that went there the first time.
