I asked him if he'd like to spend new years eve together and he said yes. We both want a low key way to celebrate as we aren't fans of big rocous parties and large crowds. I think a movie might work.

Dunno what weather and stuff is like but a midnight picnic at a local land mark, park or something could be nice for after the movie.
I love night picnics, even in the autumn and winter. Even if you end up cosied up with the blankets in the back of the car watching a movie on your laptop. At least it would be memorable. Lol.

Ok so it's not for everyone but it was a thought.

Well, it's been freezing cold these past few nights, with the lowest temps in the 20's (Fahrenheit). I am not a huge fan of sitting out in such frigid temps, though the idea of being cosied up under the blankets together does sound nice.

I snorted loud reading about midnight picnic imagining it. It was 2F-8F yesterday. It is warmer today. 20f. But we had lots of snow at least 5 inches now so it would be rather tough to picnic. Skiing or sledding or skating or snow mobiling. Picnicing or sitting in
a freezing car not so much. I know artchic lives in a warmer state compare to mine but still. It would be some picnic. At midnight.

Shows how we all live in such different climates.lol
