So last year, my depression was pretty bad I ended up having to go the psych ward. I was there for a few months. There were all kinds of people there for different reasons. I met this person there my age(one of the only people my age, the psych ward was all ages basically). We talked some, like hi how are you during breaks. She had the same interests as me and I thought we got along pretty well. Before we left me, her and one other person close to our age, we all exchanged names and emails. Part of the paper got messed up(I had it in my pocket) her email got smudged off, but her and the other persons names are still on them. I looked them both up one(the person who is slightly older, he already said hey) but her(person my age), I found on her social media but she hasn't posted since July 2015. If I wanna be friends, and since we were together(at the psych ward last year for 4 months) in your opinion, do you think it would be awkward if I sent her message? I don't know if she remembers me. What would you do?

Lots of people don't like to stay in touch with people from IP personally I don't, sure everyone kinda " bonds" together while in IP.

Maybe send a quick hey, but she's not active on Facebook you might never hear from her again.

Good luck

I would say feel your vibes. What ever feels right to you. Listen to your vibes. I think only you can tell what is best for you in this situation.

If she gave you her email then it's not wierd to send her a casual greeting. But if she hasn't been active for a while you might not get an answer
