Just thought I would put a post up here. It makes me sad to to see the rest of my family memebers getting married and seeing their relationships really working out, it just makes me feel so left out the one trailing behind. I've never had the love that comes from a relationship. I keep hoping that someday I meet the right person and to be able to feel what love is really like.. I'm not perfect. Wish someone would love me too. :-(

Your not the only one who wishes that. I know I have to be okay with myself before I can be loved for who I am. We are gonna feel better and who knows what possibilities life will bring us!!

I didnt mean like "normal" or "perfect" before someone can love us but I think we have to love ourselves and then we will shine!!

DH,
I thought I had found that perfect love in my High School sweetheart. We got married right after school and the first year was great. It went downhill real fast after that and ended up in divorce. The only good thing I can say about that relationship is that I have a wonderful daughter from it. I stayed single for 12 years after that and never really had what you would call a serious relationship. One day I met the woman who is now my wife at a chance meeting at one of my jobs and we've been happily married for over 13 years. I know inside we'll be together forever. When it comes your time for real love, you wont have to go looking, it'll find you. Have patience. God that sounded sappy as hell... I'm sure people do love you. I was thinking similar things about my family members and them getting married and having kids and great lives. Then I started seeing each one of them having problems with their marriages and children and jobs and health.
I, too, hope to find that special one who will love me forever. But I am not going to hold my breath at this point....I have had bad luck in that department and don't try much any more to meet a guy. I have one means-a personal ad-and do call the guys who sound okay for me. Yet, it hasn't happened yet. <font color=purple>Peace to you.
