They never stop calling me fat *** and overweight. I don't even have high body fat. They call me that just based on the clothing sizes I wear, in shirts I wear size small, in jeans I wear size 28x30. I'm 5'7 and 129lbs this p*sses me off and I want them to stop, they even tell me to just only eat 600 calories a day sometimes to. Are they right or delusional? How do I get them to stop?

Are there other adult figures in your life that can help you? I'm sorry you're dealing with this

Do you ever just say outright "stop commenting on my weight and what I eat. I am perfectly healthy and happy with my body."

Thanks. I had one, but she stopped replying to me a few months ago.

Yeah I have tried something similar like that, before. But it has not made
them stop.

You can't change your parents. There is nothing fat about your height to weight ratio. Your best bet is to ignore them and remove yourself from the home as soon as you are old enough and able to do so.

Neither.

When people use words like fat they are not trying to make an accurate statement.

They are trying to hurt you and/or make you embarrassed, uncomfortable, ashamed, guilty.

Some people find pleasure in putting others down. These people make themselves feel big by belittling others.

You cannot control what they do. But you can make their insults unrewarding for them by ignoring them as best you can. Don't try to reason with them. Don't defend or argue; don't engage with them. The reward they crave is getting reactions out of you.

The problem lies in them, not in you. You could even pity them: Their lives are in such bad shape that they have some internal need to belittle their own daughter.

There is nothing I could say that the time spent reading wouldn't be better spent re-reading Bill3's post.
