Husband has made some changes in the right direction.
It turns out he has Low T, and started taking testosterone. Suddenly he's made the change I needed. I wonder if that was the root of the problem all along.

I think when hormones plummet (especially with age) it doesn't matter what we do with our minds, it's the body that can't perform. Sounds good direction that he has sought out treatment. |

He knew he had slightly low t levels, but now they were low enough to need meds. The combination of the marriage t and the testosterone has made a difference in him.
I accept that I am staying with him now. We are growing old together. I think I am terrified of commitment. I felt deep down, that if I allowed myself to think of him as permanent I would lose him. Does that even make sense?

Be careful with testosterone. My DH tried it few years ago (before my time) and had terrible reaction, he was so irritatable and anxious, he felt sick, he had to stop. He tried it because he had erection problems (with his ex) and doctor said maybe that would help. I find it hilarious how he could possibly have etection problems, if I was up to it he'd be doing it several times a day lol he is up and ready 24/7 lol
Bottom line watch how your husband reacts to extra testosterone. |
