20 Diversion Tactics Highly Manipulative Narcissists, Sociopaths And Psychopaths Use To Silence You | The Huffington Post

I used the term "toxic" people instead of the labels used in this article. I think it's a good idea just to take note of the tactics and see which ones might stand out in interacting with others. Also, everyone is on a scale when it comes to narcissism, it's not unusual for an individual in a high societal position to have narcissistic traits, a lot of politicians have narcissistic traits. Politics in general tends to be a very narcissistic atmosphere where millions of dollars are spent on "smear" tactics. So, society has been exposed to a lot of narcissism in general.

My therapist told me there is definitely a rise in narcissistic behavior patterns in a lot of society in general.

This list is a good one to keep so one can pay attention to how much a friend or anyone they come into contact with may use these toxic behaviors. Everyone uses "some" though remember.
