I have been thinking a lot about the way i behave and how i tend to get in very dangerous situations so easily and how im impulsive and i just thought. Facebook is not a good thing for me because i tend to not have control over my actions. So i did the healthiest thing i decided to deactivate it because it's more self destructive then a positive thing for me. I also noticed how my anxiety is a lot lower. I wonder why i didn't do this earlier... The truth is i need hobbies that are healthy and constructive for me and talking to every random guy and creep is definitely not a healthy or a constructive hobby for me. I need normal hobbies like swimming, scuba diving etc. I need to find friends my age most importantly healthy good friendships. I know once i find these hobbies and get work and socialise with people. All of my depression and anxiety. I finally might be able to sleep because i wont be worried about my self destructive behaviours. I know that doing this is a big step forward and in the right direction. Im glad i dont have to worry about randoms sending me there **** pics anymore. I also know i deserve better for myself and talking to the worse is not going to attract me the best. I also have to become better in myself. That means focusing on tafe and stop letting the small things and big things people do affect me anymore.

What a great step in the right direction. Social media can be very dangerous in many ways.

I've deactivated facebook a few times in the past because it can be an awful thing to have. You find yourself comparing how happy you are against how happy others appear in their photos they post or you get bogged down in reading other people's problems. I also feel if you're in a relationship it can destroy it, especially if one person is so obsessed with it they spend more time on it talking to people than they do you.
Well done for making the move of getting rid of it, I would keep it off at the very least until you feel better in yourself and I would also avoid things like the news too until that time comes.

I know that Facebook for me was more of a way to avoid the problems that i needed to fix. The first thing i was lonely i had no friends i should have found likeminded people to talk to and make friendships instead of wasting time with users and sleazy men by talking to them. I know i deserve more and i am no longer going to use facebook as an escape mechanism because i know i am strong enough to get better and get my **** together

Exercise is always a good thing to do and swimming. Also hanging out with friends is good and reading.

Good job. I deleted mine a couple months back. I rejoined recently for connections to an organization that I couldn't get information on but haven't friended anyone nor used it for anything XD probably just delete it again soon, mostly because the notifications trying to get me to friend people gets old fast.

Good for you. I hope you find quality friends IRL.

I think the whole world is over the social media.

Let's all unplug and really connect!

Yes, i feel so much better my motivation towards life has totally improved. After deleting it i feel motivated enough to go to the library and talk to the people there. I havent felt this motivated and positive in ages. I honestly think once you get a taste of real life theres really no substitute!
