Hi Divine 1966 good year to arrive on earth you know she always did like to omit details of events that happen some how it was never her fault classic passive aggressive I wasn't there so you are probably right I didn't know about how some people survive off of it were all a little passive aggressive. yep no doubt she had a plan to get what she wanted and nothing would stop her.

This is so horrible it hurts me to read it. I am an animal lover and I would NEVER ever even consider to be in relationship with anyone who would ask me to put down my kitty. And after something your wife did to you, I would never want to see that person again. He or she would be out of my life forever.
I am sorry but in my opinion this is an animal abuser who has no respect for life and no respect for any of your wishes. This is HUGE red flag!
It hurts me to even think about it.

I've known several people whose cats have mysteriously disappeared. I'm sure they disposed of them.

My own parents abandoned our cats when we moved. That was completely unnecessary, selfish, and stupid. But then again, the people in my family were treated with just as much callousness and neglect.

People can be so cruel.

I'm not criticizing you, not judging at all.

I'm sorry about your pets. I'm not the biggest pet lover but have them for the rest of the family and I could not imagine for the life of me, doing anything like putting tacks on a surface to hurt the poor things. That is pure abuse.

I had to re-read your op and am glad to see it says "ex". Good for you. Animal abuse never points to a very stable person, let alone mate or spouse.

Yeah it was very hard to come home after work wondering if my cat was wounded and the other pets all wound up. The divorce is still not final it's been over a year. I was on a low dose of ant-depressant and after ten years the list of meds is unbelievable.

Agreed. My neighbor's cat bit my hand to the point that it required stitches (my fault; I picked it up to put it out of the yard while it was being frightened by a dog). While animal control went to the house to talk to them, they did not have to put the animal down.

I'm an animal lover and my stomach went into knots reading this. It sounds like a bad situation all around. I'm so sorry to read this.
