So yesterday I decided to go to the supermarket. I had not left my apartment for six days. Is that a record? Unfortunately not. As I am unemployed and depressed.

I got dressed. (How novel) Went out my door and was walking down the hall and a stranger to me - a young woman - was walking from the other direction. As she got closer she smiled at me and said, "Nice hat! I like it."

I had not been out my door more than six seconds when I got a compliment!

I thought to myself, "What is freaking wrong with you? Get out of your jammies, get a freaking job, make some freaking money, buy more freaking hats, and get more compliments!"

In other words...go for happiness.

The thought terrifies me.

The End
