My housemate and I have become so close, almost like best friends at this stage. She has her own best friend though and the jealousy is driving me crazy. Whenever I hear her on the phone to her I get so upset and feel awful.

I hate feeling this way, I feel like a freak. I wish I could make it stop

Its okay we all have these strong emotional feelings. It's part of being human. Just try not to let your jealousy get in the way of your friendship. Because ultimately thats what counts.

What Dax said. Feelings are a normal part of the human condition, but you need to not act on it.
Try to avoid exposing yourself to these situations if they really are too hard.
And remember it doesn't have a bearing on your friendship with her.

I think iy's pretty normal to feel that way sometimes, especially if you're someone with anxiety or insecure attachment.
As long as you don't end up acting mean because of it or something, it's fine.
