do relationships even work when you are bipolar? i am bipolar 1 and my bf and i started off using together before i knew my diagnoses. but since have been sober for the past few years but it seems now my bipolar is to much of a burden than he wants to put up with.

For sure. My relationship works and I'm bipolar.

But I do think my bf has had to go through a few challenges because of it.

Congrats on not using.

Relationships work across many disorders, Communication, Trust, Love, Being kind to eachother and gratitude for what you have, if he thinks you are a burden, leave him, your better than that, and there is always something better waiting for you
