I'm minimizing negative drama and toxicity in my life. Feel free to join me in the count of good days.

Hopefully, today will be #1!

No need to rehash anything anymore--you had valid reasons behind your actions (not continually giving money to your mom). Guilt is not necessary--let your conscience be free. People who have judged just don't fully understand. As far as the people who are not talking to you goes---it is their loss.

It has been only 3 days since I had drama. It wasn't drama, actually, I didn't call to start any drama. I'm just really sad about it and was triggered to tears because we drove to my mom's town without visiting her.

Crying is supposed to be healing but I hope you didn't have to endure it for to long....I don't consider crying drama--it is something very personal, it's not like an argument, SH, that sort of thing. There is no need to stop the count.

Most of my drama occurs between my two ears but if I were to pick something that I should count down it would be: It has been at least 4 days since I blamed my H for one of my problems! That is something I am really working on.....
Thanks for this!

Per usual my mother refuses to respect my boundaries. I wrote to her via email to cease all contact with me but she can't help herself, since I've been her most consistent source of narcissistic supply. She tried to draw me back in, by demanding that I come over to her apartment to change her bedding, etc. for a mere $20 (money being the carrot she likes to dangle at me). I didn't respond. I just deleted the voicemail. She can harass my other two siblings now. I just won't respond anymore. When I was in college, I saw a counselor who was friends with my mother, who violated the law and her oath by telling my mother everything we talked about. I tried to get the counselor fired but failed. That is just one of many ways my narcissist mother has tried to derail my life.

Been involved in drama or been around it? Both are aggravating!

About 1 hour since I've been around it. I'm spending the weekend at the larger halfway house in my program because they are remodeling my bathroom. The women living here are SO loud and dramatic! Last night one of them was begging the staff to drive her to the ER because she bumped her foot, then when they said no she went for a jog .

Since I been involved in it? 2 days. I got triggered badly by something at the day center and a girl was mocking my meltdown behind my back. I confronted her on FB and explained about PTSD and why it triggered me. She apologized so we sort of worked it out. But I still don't 100% trust her.

I'm fighting off the temptation of causing some right now.
