My mom died late last year.for years before she died she told Complete strangers and people In my family I never been close to that I am on disability.Well today a big mouth who knew some how through my mom or someone else asked me loudly at Walmart about the amount of my disability check etc.made a mistake & I told him.then I notice 2 guys I don't like sitting behind the guy who was being nosey and asking me all these questions.i am a really private person and am upset over this.when my mom was alive several times I got into a arguments with my mom about her telling everyone about me being on disability.i have always felt like I have a right to my privacy and people keep doing this to me.i really don't tell anyone my business and never have.but my mom and others would never keep their big mouth shut about me getting help from the government.now I am worried that the guys I don't like over heard my conversation & will tell a bunch of people my business.earlier this year the same guy told workers I don't even know at Walmart that I am on disability & until today I have not spoken to him in months

I've also had to talk to my mom several times about telling other people my business. She still does it. The problem is that a lot of her friends are family friends that I've been around all my life and it's just disconcerting. You sound like you might be ashamed of being on disability. If those guys heard that then they heard it and it can't be unheard. Hold your head high and carry on. Best wishes.

Yes a little bit ashamed about being on disability. But more annoyed that my mom would never keep her big mouth shut about me.the majority of people my mom told are people I hardly know well.i hope those guys i don't like didn't hear most of my conversation.Because those 2 guys have big mouths and gossip just as teenage girls. But no clue how long they where sitting behind the guy who was talking to me.i didn't notice them sitting there until most of the conversation was over with.so I am hoping they didn't hear most of it.after I left I yelled at the guy for what he did & he called me paranoid
