While unfortunate the situation is, assuming they are obligated to adhere to your non-medical dietary needs I think is rather out of line.

I did not catch your age. Perhaps if looking after your own needs in the household is impossible then it is time to find a place of your own.
17... but I can't even have my own place, my parents prevent that from happening. And they get mad if I try and fix my own food as I'm "touching" the things they buy and get mad.

If the parents have an issue with cooking arrangements they should address it directly not by sneaky aggression and humiliation.

their was 1 time my parents gave me.... I don't really know the name of it, it's the meat they eat in islam- anyway I went balistic after finding out.
Possible trigger:

I don't really follow religion, I have my own beliefs, but i'm not what you'd call super religious.

I have always been a meat eater and eat regular, normal meat from a cow, or a pig, or what ever, killed in the normal way

so I was disgusted with what happened

What do you mean? Muslims don't eat any kind of different meat. Sure lamb is quite popular. Is that what you are referring to?

Or are you talking about Hallal? It's not any kind of special meat, it's just how animal is butchered and how meat is prepared. Like Kosher for Jews. Its like saying eating kosher meat offends you. Like how?

I am not Muslim but ate Hallal meat plenty of times. I don't see how it offends your absence of religious belief? There is nothing different about it? What did you mean? Could you clarify?
