hey, your decorations sound cool, im sure im not alone in saying halloween is my favorite holiday.

ey, who ever this is theyre over stepping a line. courses of advice id suggest are..

contact facebook, tell them your situation. its a clear invasion of privacy and a pretty heavy accusation to make so just explain that.

or if you want a more direct route, i wouldnt approach him directly, id post a response including a link to his posts saying 'wtf? posting my house on face book. accusing me of murder for halloween decorations at halloween??'

but thats just me.
honestly though dude, atleast dont take it to heart. the guy is being out of hand and it says more about him than it does you.

It's clearly in poor taste for him to make some kind of link from a past murder to your Halloween decorations. People have died (not just murdered) in many places; decorating for Halloween is not disrespect to their death. People die in amusement parks and they still do Halloween mazes, etc.

I echo what others have said: don't respond...this kind of guy complains and makes trouble about everything. He's LOOKING to start a fight with you. If you ignore him, he'll lose interest and move on to the next thing. Although, I'm assuming you probably decorate for many holidays, so be prepared for him to post pics of your house at Thanksgiving and Christmas with some stupid complaint too.

Just do you and don't worry about the haters.

Complaining to FB is a good idea. I have done that before, and posts have been removed.

Exactly!! I couldn't believe it when I saw his post. I'm taking the advice everyone has shared here by not entertaining whatever it is he's doing. Excellent point about the theme parks! We can't all stay miserable, I can't imagine we'd get anywhere in life doing so

Thank you, all, for the support.

All is well regarding the decorations. We've since added even more to the house so it looks even better than it did previously - getting into the Halloween spirit!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful happy Halloween!!!
Thanks for this!

I suspect this was a bit of Halloweenee tongue in cheek, eyebrow raising.
Nothing sincere.
I am sorry you are upset by it.
