there is a young man that has been in our lives since he was 6 and is now 23. My husband is jealous of him. He said that he has friends that slept with the mothers or wives of his other friends in the past and he just cant handle the tought that it may be us. We have been married for 22 years and I have never given him a reason to think I would stray. How can I handle this?

Handling jealousy of a spouse is a tough one. It's his insecurity to manage, one in which is not your responsibility.

I would stand firm in drawing that line in the sand. Don't entertain circular arguments nor discussions.

So, he has known of someone that has known of someone that has does something. It's fear of an unknown based upon facts of someone else's life.

What is there for you to truly handle about this?
