Friends. I have only just realised now that by moving (from another city) in with my boyfriend that there will suddenly be children in my life. His grandchildren range from 1-24.
I actually look forward to having youngsters in my life but I am unsure of what is expected of me. I certainly don't want to dive in with both feet but I don't want to remain aloof either. Would holding a pumpkin carving night for the younger ones be too much too soon? |

Absolutely not. Sounds like the perfect ice breaker. To me it would send the message that you are open and welcoming to his family. Good luck with that.

Oh wow, that's really lovely, sounds like a great idea to do some fun stuff/have a little party. You can take it from there once you get to know them and all their characters, what they like doing.

Thank you for easing my mind about this. I have already met them but being grandpa's girlfriend is different than being grandpa's partner.
